The House
You can enjoy the beautiful Tuscan landscape from the elegant rooms of our country house.
Location
Our wine farm is located at Via del Mandoleto 12, just 3.8 km from highway 478, coming from the Chiusi tollbooth. Our area, called “Le buche”, is known for the presence of remains of Etruscan settlements. In the midst of the property is our house, surrounded by lots of trees, including many olive trees. The winery is below the house.
The Structure
The house was built in the first decades of the 19th century and has been restored in keeping with Tuscan country architecture of that period, re-establishing the symmetry of the façade, which had been impaired by recent interventions. All our flooring is made of terracotta or travertine – both of which are typical of the area – except for our bedrooms where we’ve used parquet to facilitate floor heating as an energy-saving measure.
Comfort
The house is composed of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, one kitchen, one dining room and a living room. We’ve mixed antique furniture with some modern design pieces.
You may notice the structural reinforcement in iron, which was required by the Civil Engineers because of the area’s seismic risk.
External Spaces
Olives, oaks and swimming pool.
You can enjoy a pleasant walk in the park, where you’ll come upon olive trees, centuries-old oaks and lots of other trees, including fruit-bearing ones. Not far from the house is a swimming pool, which can be used in July and August.

The house can accommodate a maximum of 7 people; it provides a most pleasing way to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. You can book your stay for a minimum of 7 days (6 nights) and you may request extra services (not included).
